FREE Guided Lakeside Bird Walk & Talk
Learn more about the amazing birds in our local area and join in a short leisurely walk along the foreshore Lake Illawarra, bird watching with a local expert from Illawarra Birders on Sunday 26 October, 9:30am – 12:30pm at Lake Illawarra.
Details will be collected on the birds observed on the walk, and submitted as part of the first ever Aussie Backyard Bird Count, organised by BirdLife Australia. In this way, you can become a ‘citizen scientist’ for the day and contribute to scientific knowledge about our local birdlife.
