Ben Ricketts Environmental Preserve invites members of the community to attend an informative, interactive, fun weekend in Jamberoo in March 2018.

9.30 Morning tea
10.00 Welcome to Country and to Ben Ricketts Environmental Preserve
10.05 Talk on rainforest plants by botanist, Dr Kevin Mills
11.00 Kevin will lead a walk to identify rainforest plants (Maries Glade and Qwerty track)
12.30 Lunch
13.30 Talks on native animals and feral animals by Melinda Norton
14.00 Talk on impact of weeds on the escarpment forests
14.30 Afternoon tea
15.00 Walk – Sassafras Track
16.30 Finish

Weekend booking includes a bed in a cabin on a shared basis on Friday and Saturday nights,
presentations, guided walks and the Saturday evening meal – $290.00

For those staying overnight there will be opportunities for bird watching and more
time to experience the tall forests of Jamberoo Mountain.
