Join us on Friday the 9th of February for our second “Habitat for Wildlife” workshop as part of a regional series of habitat workshops.
Join Wildside Australia’s Brendon Levot on a journey through a diversity of ecosystems we commonly work in to recover, and hear about his experience in creating healthy habitat to support a diversity of Australian wildlife on Bushcare and Landcare sites!
This workshop, held at Govinda Valley will cover restoration activities, how to identify and plan for wildlife in your restoration activities, how to look for signs of a healthy ecosystem and more!
In the Landcare and Bushcare world we are often so focused on the weeds, we forget to look up into the trees and the surrounding vegetation for what we are providing homes for in the long term.
This workshop will get you thinking about the bigger picture in environmental restoration, noticing what you have or could have on your site, and looking and listening for more Australian wildlife.
Time: 9.30 am – 12pm
Cost: Free
Bookings: Please register for this workshop here
This workshop is funded by South East Local Land Services through funding from the Australian Government
