Celebrating local food production

Local producers are invited to participate in an evening at Coolangatta Estate

You will hear from five local producers, each of whom are successfully producing and marketing local produce. They will share the challenges facing their industry and the innovations they have applied to overcome them.

The evening provides the opportunity to connect with producers in other industries and to start discussing how we can work together to promote profitable and sustainable primary production on the NSW South Coast.

South East Local Land Services is supporting this event and inaugural Chair, David Mitchell will open the evening.

Guest speakers:

  • Paul Timbs, Dairy farmer and Chairman, South Coast Dairy
  • Greg Wilson, Woodlands of Milton (Beef)
  • Ian Firth, Owner Millpaca (Alpaca)
  • Andrew Wales, Executive Officer, Australia’s Oyster Coast Inc.
  • Raj Ray, Owner and Director Silos Estate (Winery)

The evening will showcase local produce, in the form of a three course meal, prepared by Coolangatta Estate chef Amit Patel.

Time: Pre-dinner drinks from 6:30 pm (at own cost)

Dinner 7 pm

Event concludes 9.30 pm

Cost: $40 per person
