The Jamberoo Valley Ratepayers and Residents Association (JVRAA) hosted a community meeting to discuss the future of Jerrara Wetlands and Arboretum.

Information about the community meeting

The Jamberoo Valley Ratepayers and Residents Association (JVRAA) invites you to a community meeting to discuss the future of Jerrara Wetlands and Arboretum.

All community members are welcome to attend and contribute to the discussion. Our goal is to establish a Friends of Jerrara Wetlands group to represent the community in discussions with Kiama Council.

Landcare Illawarra is interested in supporting a volunteer group at the site and would like to hear from local residents who are keen to get involved.

Schedule

1:00 PM – Optional Site Visit
Meet at the Jerrara Wetlands car park for a guided walk with local experts and Council staff. This is a great opportunity for those who haven’t visited recently to explore the site.

2:00 PM – Community Meeting at Jamberoo Youth Hall
Join us for a two-hour discussion about the future of Jerrara Wetlands.
