Collaboration: We foster inclusive and supportive relationships within our local groups, local councils, other natural resource management organisations and the wider community, prioritising collaboration, knowledge-sharing and skill-building to achieve environmental outcomes.
Respect: We respect the land, our communities, and the rich Indigenous heritage of our region, recognising our responsibility to care for each other and local ecosystems with deep dedication.
Stewardship: We are advocates and champions for protecting the Illawarra’s unique biodiversity, striving to restore local ecosystems and to build their resilience in the face of increasing pressures.

• Ensuring continuing environmental education and knowledge sharing
• Safeguarding threatened species and ecological communities

• Mitigating impacts of climate change and natural disasters on local landscapes
This Strategic Plan will guide Landcare Illawarra’s activities over the period 2024-2027.
