You are invited to an Illawarra Lowlands Grassy Woodland Field Day
South East Local Land Services, the Office of Environment and Heritage, Landcare Illawarra, Yallah TAFE and a number of local experts are
hosting a field day on Saturday, 17 May at four local sites to highlight the importance of this Endangered Ecological Community.
Participants will learn about:
- Threats to Illawarra Lowlands Grassy Woodland (ILGW)
- How management history impacts site condition
- Management actions that can significantly benefit ILGW, and
- A technique for monitoring/assessing woodland understorey condition

Time: 9.30 am to 3.00 pm

Wear/bring: Suitable clothes/hat for outdoors
Cost: FREE, however registration is essential as places are limited.
